Joonas Viljanen

Joonas Viljanen has a long history of work experience. Joonas began their career in 1999 as a Project Administrator Internship at Nokia. Joonas then returned to Nokia in 2000 for another Project Administrator Internship. In 2001, they became an Intranet Developer at Nokia. In 2003, they served in the Finnish Army as a Web Specialist. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as a Freelance Fullstack Web Developer at jv2design. From 2008 to 2019, they worked at money.co.uk, starting as a Web Developer and progressing to Development Team Leader and then CTO / Head Of Development. In 2019, they became the Head Of Development at CURTIS FITCH LIMITED, and in 2020, they took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at Digivante. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Technology Director at Grid Edge.

Joonas Viljanen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computer Systems and International Business Management from the University of Gloucestershire between 1999 and 2002. Joonas then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in E-Business Technology from the same university between 2004 and 2006. In 2015, they also obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance.
