Chris King

Chris King has worked in the software engineering industry since 2009. In 2011, they co-founded Surface Rush, a company dedicated to offering media solutions to businesses within Shropshire and the surrounding area. Chris was responsible for delivering all software projects and providing technical input and consultation for clients. In 2012, they began working at Plunet as a Software Developer. In 2014, they joined Betgenius as a Software Developer, working on the InPlay trading platform. In 2017, they moved to eBay as a Backend Developer. Finally, in 2018, they became the CTO and Co-Founder of GRID esports.

Chris King attended Shrewsbury Sixth Form College from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Mathematics and Computing. Chris then went on to Aberystwyth University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering. In 2017, they obtained a Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera Course Certificates.
