Mayank Bhutani

Mayank Bhutani is a Senior Software Engineer for GridRaster Inc. since 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Intern for Samsung Electronics in 2020, a Teaching Assistant for The School of Innovation from Facebook in 2019, an Undergraduate Research Assistant for University of Bristol in 2019, a VR/MR Developer Intern for GridRaster Inc. in 2019, a Simulation Team Lead for Sally Robotics in 2018, a Student for SV.CO in 2018, an Intern for helloVorld in 2018, and a Summer Intern for Bhaskaracharya Institute For Space Applications and Geo-Informatics in 2017. At Samsung Electronics, they worked in Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) to predict the position of controller of XR headset using its orientation and inverse kinematics, and also worked under IOT - SmartWatch team to create a Proof of Concept application for Visualizing the SmartWatch on consumer's wrist using Augmented Reality. At University of Bristol, they worked on Narupa Builder, a chemistry tool for building molecule simulations and visualizing them in Virtual Reality. At GridRaster Inc., they built a plugin to enable Shared Experience in Mixed Reality via content syncing and spatial alignment for users in the same room, and worked on multiple projects related to Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality.

Mayank Bhutani attended S. D. Vidya Mandir from 2000 to 2015, where they obtained their School degree. Mayank then received coaching from Vidya Mandir Classes from 2012 to 2015. Mayank then attended Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2015 to 2020, where they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and their Master of Science in Chemistry. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
