Luís Manuel

Luís Manuel is a business professional with a wealth of experience in corporate strategy, investment portfolio management, and project finance. Luís began their career in 1996 as an associate at ES Investment, where they were part of the corporate finance and project finance advisory teams in Portugal and Rio de Janeiro. In 1999, they joined Galp Energia as a senior project manager at the Corporate Strategy and Investment Portfolio Department. Luís held this position until 2006, when they left to join Explorer Investments as a senior analysis team member.

In 2007, Luís Manuel left Explorer Investments to take on the role of advisor to the Secretary of State for Economic Development at the Portuguese Ministry of Economy. Luís served in this role until 2005, when they returned to Galp Energia. Luís remained with Galp Energia until January of 2006, when they left to join GridBeyond as a board observer.

Luís Manuel attended the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, a school in Portugal. Luís studied there from 2001-2005.
