Andrei Aleksandrov has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Andrei started their career as an ERP developer at PITERAVTO, where they provided full stack solutions using Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0. Andrei was responsible for preparing technical documentation and supporting projects during the deployment stage.
Following this, Andrei joined Oracle as a software developer. Andrei contributed to the Technology Compatibility Kit for Connected Limited Device Configuration and the Technology Compatibility Kit for Java Card Platform. Andrei'sresponsibilities included designing and implementing tests, fixing bugs, and handling customer requests. Andrei later worked on the Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service Client Libraries, where they designed and implemented various client library features.
After leaving Oracle, Andrei joined Luxoft as a senior software developer. Andrei worked on developing different solutions for a large investment bank, taking part in implementing both the backend and frontend of a web portal. Andrei also conducted unit tests and fixed existing bugs.
Currently, Andrei serves as a senior software developer at GridGain Systems. Andrei'smain responsibilities include designing and implementing new product features for Apache Ignite and GridGain, providing technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and designing and implementing Apache Ignite/GridGain-based solutions. Andrei is also involved in preparing webinars and articles about GridGain and Apache Ignite.
Throughout their career, Andrei has developed strong skills in Java, SQL, and various distributed systems, such as Apache Ignite, GridGain, Spark, and Hadoop. Andrei is also experienced in multithreading, performance tuning, and GC optimization.
Andrei Aleksandrov has a Master's degree in Mechanics and mathematical modeling from Saint Petersburg State University. Andrei completed their Master's degree from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Saint Petersburg State University from 2006 to 2010.
