Russell Gee has extensive experience in data architecture and solutions engineering spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Solutions Architect at GridGain Systems since April 2022, Russell specializes in presales solutions in the EMEA region. Previous roles include Senior Consulting Architect at Dremio, and Senior Solutions Architect positions at GigaSpaces Technologies and Qubole, where responsibilities encompassed pre-sales and post-sales solutions, cloud integration (AWS, Azure, GCP), and expertise in big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop. Earlier experience includes technical leadership at EXASOL, Kognitio, and Visa Europe, where Russell managed teams and oversaw database development projects.
