Jarrett Hunt

Jarrett Hunt is a Machine Learning Engineer at Gridmatic since November 2021, focusing on developing deep, generative AI models for forecasting electricity market variables and implementing production infrastructure for data storage applications. Prior experiences include serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, where Jarrett developed object detection models for wind turbine localization, and working as a Course Assistant for Ordinary Differential Equations at Stanford University. Additional roles include an Electricity Markets Forecasting Intern at EDF Innovation Lab, where Jarrett modeled marginal prices using machine learning, and contributing to ClimateAI as a Data Science Intern. Jarrett has held leadership positions, such as Vice President of Digital & Brand for the Stanford Energy Club, and has completed a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University.
