Kevin Qi

Kevin Qi is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a strong background in machine learning infrastructure, data pipelines, and product engineering. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Gridmatic since June 2022, Kevin previously held roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsara, where involvement in the Autoduty backend service was key, and at Amino, where leadership on the HSA banking product resulted in a successful MVP launch. Additional experience includes contributions to a patient interview framework at PatientsLikeMe, where Kevin led the adoption of React and ES6, along with earlier work at Panjiva developing interfaces for visualizing trade data. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, obtained in 2009.
