Muhammad Iqbal

Muhammad Iqbal has a diverse work experience in the field of SCADA and communications. Muhammad recently joined GRIDSERVE Sustainable Energy Limited as the Head of SCADA and Communications. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead SCADA and Communications Engineer at the same company. Previous to their time at GRIDSERVE, Muhammad worked at Grid Solutions as an Automation Specialist from 2016 to 2022. Muhammad also had significant roles at Lucy Switchgear, where they served as an Automation Systems Manager, Systems Team Leader, and Project Manager. In addition, Muhammad has expertise in IEC-TC57, specifically in working groups WG10, WG15, and WG19. Muhammad began their career as an Electronics Engineer at Techrem Limited and later worked as an Application Engineer at Allied Engineering & Services Limited.

Muhammad Iqbal completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology from 1998 to 2002. Muhammad later pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in the same field from Staffordshire University from 2005 to 2007.
