Benjamin McCoy

Benjamin McCoy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Benjamin worked as a Data Engineer at GRIDSIGHT starting from October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Aginic from July 2020 to November 2022. In 2019, they had a role as a Co-author for a conference paper at UNSW, where they contributed to the research on the economic benefits of virtual power plants. Before that, they were a Building Services Engineer at EnergyLink from January 2018 to April 2019, where they monitored energy consumption and provided efficiency recommendations. As an intern at COzero in 2016, Benjamin worked with the DevOps team to develop data analysis tools. Benjamin also gained experience as an intern at Gammon Construction Limited in 2013, assisting with research on energy-saving techniques. Additionally, they completed an internship at GeoRisk Solutions in 2012, where they inputted data into ArcGIS software.

Benjamin McCoy obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Renewable Engineering/Chemistry from UNSW. Benjamin attended the university from 2013 to 2019, focusing their studies on the field of Renewable Engineering and Chemistry.
