McKennan Bertsch

Mckennan Bertsch, PE, serves as the Grid Integration Project Manager at GridSME since September 2022, where responsibilities include supporting clients in the interconnection process for renewable energy resources while ensuring compliance with ISO and regulatory standards. Prior to this, Mckennan Bertsch held various roles at AECOM from January 2016 to September 2022, progressing from Energy Engineer positions to Project Manager, overseeing the construction of battery energy storage and photovoltaic systems, and conducting assessments of infrastructure vulnerabilities for federal clients. Additionally, the role as Drought Intern at Olivenhain Municipal Water District involved data analysis and community outreach related to water resources. Mckennan Bertsch holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Environmental Engineering Technology from UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering.
