Casey Werth

Casey Werth is the Global Industry GM for the Energy Sector within IBM. He and his team partner with energy clients around the world to better leverage technology and differentiated capabilities to enable and accelerate the energy transition. His team focuses on leveraging data and automation technology to improve integration of DERs, maximize asset performance, and bolster grid resiliency.

Casey is a member of several industry organizations and presents at industry forums, such as EEI, DistribuTECH, EPRI, IEEE, and Cloud for Utilities. He has worked closely with members of the NERC CIPC and RSTC standing committees on security and cloud adoption projects. Energy and Utilities Industries have been a focus for Casey since he joined IBM in Shanghai, where he led business development and solution design for the IBM Smarter Cities business in the ASEAN region. Prior to joining IBM, Casey led a consumer products supply chain organization in Shanghai.
