Thomas Eck

Thomas Eck has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Thomas started their career in 2010 as a Working Student in Web Development at capahill GmbH and continued in that role until June 2015. From March 2008 to July 2015, Thomas worked as a Working Student in Timekeeping Systems for Sports Events at mika:timing GmbH. In 2015, they joined Douglas as a Working Student in Web Development for eCommerce from July to January 2016, and then transitioned to a role as a Software Engineer in eCommerce from February to September 2016. Following that, Thomas worked at INFORM GmbH as a Full-Stack Software Engineer in Java/Web from October 2016 to October 2018. Since October 2018, they have been employed at gridX, starting as a Site Reliability Engineer and eventually becoming the Head of Infrastructure and Security in May 2022.

From 2006 to 2009, Thomas Eck attended b.i.b. International College and received a degree in Informationstechnischer Assistent. After that, from 2009 to 2011, they enrolled in Solent University and earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computing. Additionally, during the same period, they also studied at b.i.b. International College and completed a program in Softwaretechnologie, earning the title of Informatiker. Lastly, from 2012 to 2016, Thomas Eck attended RWTH Aachen University but did not finish their Master of Science degree in Informatik.
