Kelly Penwell

Kelly Penwell is an accomplished educational leader and business strategist with extensive experience in various roles across multiple institutions. Currently serving as the Dean of the School of Business at The Out-of-Door Academy and as Assistant Superintendent and COO at Griffin Technology Academies, Kelly also operates Kelly Penwell Consulting as CEO. Previous positions include directing the Florida Small Business Development Center and the Experiential Learning Lab at The University of Memphis, where innovative programs for business development and student internships were implemented. Kelly holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from SUNY Empire State College and a Master’s in Secondary Education from Dowling College, and has been actively involved in community engagement and economic resiliency initiatives throughout their career.
