Erick Rodríguez

Erick Rodríguez has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Erick worked for Griffith Foods as the Regional IT Director for Central/South America and the Caribbean starting in 2018. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Boston Scientific, where they held various positions. Erick served as the Senior Program Manager and was responsible for the Operations and Systems Integration for the acquisition of American Medical Systems Company. Erick also worked as a Senior Business Program Manager, leading the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in the company's manufacturing plants in Costa Rica. Erick started their journey at Boston Scientific as a Regional Senior IT Manager, responsible for the IT operations and strategic planning for both manufacturing plants in Costa Rica. Before joining Boston Scientific, they worked for Monsanto Company, where they held several IT management positions, including IT Manager for Central America and the Caribbean and IT Information Systems & Infrastructure Lead. Erick played a key role in successfully implementing SAP 4.0b at Monsanto in Central America. Overall, Erick Rodriguez has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in IT and project management throughout their career.

Erick Rodríguez has a variety of educational credentials and certifications. Erick holds an ITIL Foundation v3 certification from New Horizons. In 1992, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems at the Universidad de Costa Rica UCR. Erick then pursued further education at ULACIT, where they obtained a Bachelor's and Licentiate degree in Information Systems in 1997 and 1999 respectively. In 2011, they completed a Management Through Leadership program at INCAE, followed by a Top Management - Management Competencies program at the same institution in 2012. In 2013, Erick earned a Master's degree in Project Management from both UCI and Universidad para la Cooperación Internacional. Erick has also obtained additional certifications including a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in 2016, and an ITIL ver 3 certification from New Horizons Costa Rica in 2015.
