Maria Legare-Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Maria is currently working as an Account Sales Director, Protein Processing at Griffith Foods. Prior to this, they owned and operated HLH Cottage Rentals, a family-owned cottage offering seasonal rentals. Maria also worked as a National Key Account Manager, Retail at Cardinal Meat Specialists Limited, where they managed national retail sales and key accounts across large chains and independents. Additionally, Maria has experience as an Ontario Territory Manager at Canadian Pallet Council and Key Account Manager at Axxess Logistics and Motts Cadbury Beverages.

Maria Legare-Taylor completed their education at the University of Ottawa, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from 1988 to 2002. Maria also studied at the Glendon Campus of York University for Economics from 1992 to 1993. Furthermore, during their time at the University of Ottawa from 1988 to 1992, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science, Modern Languages, and Economics. In addition to their academic achievements, Maria Legare-Taylor obtained certifications in ServSafe Food Handler from Canadian Food Safety Training in 2018 and Retail Link - Planning and Forecasting - Walmart Canada from 8th & Walton in 2017.
