Dr. Christina Georgikou

Dr. Christina Georgikou is a Pharmacovigilance Specialist at Grifols since August 2023, bringing extensive experience in drug safety and regulatory compliance. Previously, Dr. Georgikou held the position of Senior Drug Safety Associate and Deputy LQPPV at ICON plc from July 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included training personnel, managing regional drug safety teams, ensuring compliance, and participating in client project meetings. Prior experience includes serving as a Drug Safety Specialist at spm2 - safety projects & more GmbH from October 2019 to June 2021, focusing on case processing and project-specific procedures. Early in the career, Dr. Georgikou completed a student internship at Institut Pasteur, investigating Trypanosoma brucei. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology, an MS in Translational Medical Research, and a BS in Molecular Biology, all from prestigious institutions such as Heidelberg University and the University of Crete.
