Jennifer Tisdale has been working in the field of cyber-physical systems, cybersecurity, and mobility programs since 1997. Jennifer began their career at Central Transport International Inc. as a Senior Contract Manager, Legal, where they were responsible for researching statutes, tariffs, and regulations for shipments going to or from the U.S. to Canada or Mexico. From 2001 to 2006, they worked at the United States Attorney's Office, Department of Justice as a Financial Litigation Agent and Victim's Rights Advocate. During this time, they managed an 800 count caseload of criminal defendants ordered to pay fines and restitution to victims and federal court.

From 2006 to 2012, Jennifer worked at Macomb Regional PTAC as a Senior Project Specialist and at PTAC of Schoolcraft College as a Procurement Counselor. In 2013, they joined the Michigan Economic Development Corporation as a Cyber Mobility Program Manager, where they focused on building and delivering cyber-solutions and resources to both government and industry.

In 2017, Jennifer joined Mazda North American Operations as a Program Manager, R&D Product Cybersecurity. In this role, they provided cyber-business strategy solutions for Mazda connected vehicle products. In 2018, they joined GRIMM (SMFS, Inc.) as Chief Executive Officer, Senior Principal, Cyber Physical Systems, Principal, Cyber-Physical Systems Security Programs, Associate Principal, Embedded Systems & Advanced Transportation Security, and Director, Cybersecurity & Mobility Programs.

Jennifer Tisdale obtained their Bachelor of Science in Community Development and Public Administration from Central Michigan University. In 2010, they obtained a Masters certificate in Government Acquisition from The George Washington University. In March 2013, they earned a Certified Procurement Professional certification from APTAC.
