S. Arnold Zimmerman ("Van")

S. Arnold Zimmerman ("Van") has extensive experience in the field of corporate risk and compliance. S. Arnold has held multiple roles since 2000, beginning with Network/Security Engineer at Atlantic Health. S. Arnold then progressed to Manager, Data Security & Server Infrastructure, Manager, IT Audit, Director, Internal Audit, Privacy Officer, Research Integrity Officer, and Compliance Counsel at Atlantic Health. In 2011, they joined Jersey Health Connect as Executive Director and Privacy & Security Officer. From 2018 to 2019, they were Executive Director of the New Jersey Health Information Network. In 2019, they became Compliance Officer at the New Jersey Innovation Institute, and in 2020 they were promoted to Associate General Counsel, Privacy Officer. Currently, they are Director, Corporate Risk at GRIMM (SMFS, Inc.).

S. Arnold Zimmerman ("Van") holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Indiana University Bloomington, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Lafayette College. Additionally, Van has obtained five certifications: Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) from (ISC)² in June 2012, Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) from (ISC)² in January 2012, Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP) from (ISC)² in January 2011, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in October 2004, and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in May 2005.
