Thomas Buchholz

Thomas Buchholz currently serves as Head of Systems Engineering at GRIMME since July 2024, focusing on product automation, system integration, and functional safety. Prior to this role, Thomas held multiple positions at Miele from February 2014 to June 2024, including Manager of Mechanical Engineering Robotics and Manager of Laboratory Robotics, where expertise in robotics and agile leadership was developed. Thomas also worked as a Research and Development Engineer, contributing to product development in robotics. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Associate at Fachhochschule Osnabrück from August 2011 to January 2014, specializing in functional safety and mechatronics, and completing a vocational traineeship at Windmöller & Hölscher Gruppe from August 2007 to July 2011. Education includes a Master of Science in Mechatronic Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Hochschule Osnabrück.
