Michael Maree

Michael Maree currently serves as an Investment Banking Analyst at Grindrod Bank, having joined in March 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Vice President at Maples Group from July 2021 to November 2022, and Audit Senior at Deloitte Cayman Islands, where responsibilities spanned from January 2017 to June 2021, including time as a CA(SA) Trainee. During the tenure at Deloitte, Michael was a part of the Financial Services Audit team and gained valuable auditing experience across various industries. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, both obtained from the University of Cape Town. Michael completed earlier education at Clifton College from 2008 to 2012.
