Antonis Christofides is a seasoned software developer and consultant with extensive experience in the fields of hydroinformatics and application development. Since December 2021, Antonis has worked as a Senior Developer and DevOps at GRNET and co-founded IRMASYS, serving as Head of Development since September 2021. Previously, Antonis held positions including Senior Developer at Cognitera S.A., where the focus was on Ecoschemes functionality for aid applications, and Senior Hydroinformatics Developer at the University of Ioannina and ICCS NTUA, working on various projects related to irrigation advice systems and national river databases. Additional roles include Software Engineer at ETME, Python/Django Developer at HowGood and poder.IO, and DevOps Consultant at Pulse & Opinion S.A. Antonis is also an author of a book on Django deployment. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester and an Engineer’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
