Aris Sotiropoulos

Aris Sotiropoulos, PhD, PMP, serves as the Chief Executive Officer at GRNET - Greek Research & Technology Network since September 2006, where responsibilities also include Project Management and overseeing Operations and Financial Management Services. Prior experience encompasses roles as Project Manager at the Institute of Communications and Computer Systems and the Institute for the Management of Information Systems, as well as a Research Associate and Researcher at the Computing Systems Laboratory (CSLab) and the National Technical University of Athens, respectively. Aris has also contributed to academia as a Visiting Lecturer, teaching courses in Computer Architecture and Computer Organization in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. Aris earned a PhD in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Athens, completing studies from 1999 to 2004.
