Vassilis Kokoretsis is a senior IP network engineer at GRNET, with extensive experience in NFV and SDN solutions developed during a tenure at Vodafone as an NFV/SDN Network Engineer. Vassilis has a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures using various technologies, including VMware and Cisco systems. Prior to Vodafone, Vassilis worked at Nokia Siemens Networks as a Network Planning and Optimization Engineer, focusing on IP and server-related solutions, and started the career at the Hellenic National Meteorological Service, providing technical support for its IP backbone.
