Christopher D. Roberts

Christopher D. Roberts is a Product Advisory Board Member at GRO Biosciences. Prior to their current position, Roberts was an Entrepreneur In Residence at S.R. One Ltd, the Chief Scientific Officer at Black Diamond Therapeutics, and a VP, Chemistry & Early Development at Syros Pharmaceuticals. Christopher has also held positions as a Senior Director, Medicinal Chemistry at Genelabs Technologies and an Early Clinical Development Leader (EDL) for GSK3399584 at GlaxoSmithKline. Roberts has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has been instrumental in the development of several innovative medicines.

Christopher D. Roberts received their BA from Whitworth University in Chemistry, Biology, and Spanish. Christopher then went on to receive their Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside. After working as a post-doctoral fellow in organic chemistry and chemical biology at the University of Bern, they enrolled in the Wharton/Windover Program for Pharmaceutical & Biotech Executives at The Wharton School. Christopher also took courses in corporate finance and project management at the University of California, Berkeley Extension School.
