Manuel Siegrist

Manuel Siegrist has a diverse range of work experience. Manuel is currently the Head of Finance at Gro - Hair Growth Specialists, a role they began in April 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Finance Manager for the same company from March 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining Gro, Manuel worked as a Senior Consultant at SmartConsult from November 2017 to March 2021. In this role, they used their expertise to provide consulting services to clients.

Manuel also has experience in academia, specifically at Bond University. Manuel worked as an Adjunct Lecturer from September 2015 to January 2020, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate classes in International Finance, Managerial Finance, and Corporate Finance. Manuel also worked as a tutor for various finance classes during this time.

Additionally, Manuel has entrepreneurial experience. Manuel served as a Start-up Manager for Utengule Estates Tanzania Ltd., where they successfully launched a coffee shop in Dar es Salaam. Manuel managed a team of seven employees in this role.

Manuel's earlier career includes positions at Bison as a Financial Controller for a brief period in 2014, and at Swiss International Air Lines, where they held various roles including Project Leader and Teamleader in the finance department.

Manuel began their professional journey as an Audit Assistant at BDO Switzerland in 2004.

Throughout their career, Manuel has demonstrated a strong finance background and the ability to take on various responsibilities in finance management, consulting, academia, entrepreneurship, and auditing.

Manuel Siegrist's education history begins in 2006 when they enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW. Manuel pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree with a focus in Accounting & Controlling, completing their studies in 2010.

After a gap of two years, Manuel Siegrist returned to academia in 2012 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Bond University. Manuel specialized in General Management and earned their MBA in 2013.

Building upon their master's degree, Manuel Siegrist continued their educational journey at Bond University from 2015 to 2019. During this period, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the fields of Finance, Business, Sustainability, and Mining. Manuel successfully completed their doctoral studies in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Manuel Siegrist obtained a certification in Energy Auditing Masterclass AS/NZS 3598:2014 from the Energy Efficiency Council in December 2020.
