Jignesh Patel

Jignesh Patel has over 18 years of work experience in the software engineering field. In 2022, they began working as a Principal Software Engineer for Vence Corp. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer for GroGuru Inc. from 2018 to 2022. From 2008 to 2018, they worked for Ingenu as a Senior Engineer where they developed software for Ingenu's LPWAN product offerings. From 2008 to 2006, they worked for Staccato Communications as a Software Engineer where they designed and implemented embedded software for Certified Wireless USB, High Speed Bluetooth 3.0, WiMedia Networking, and others based on WiMedia UWB technology. From 2006 to 2005, they worked for NextWave Broadband Inc. as a Software Engineer where they designed, implemented, tested, integrated, and documented 802.16e Media Access Control (MAC) protocol stack. From 2005 to 2002, they worked for UMKC Information Services in various roles such as a Student Assistant - Technical, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Research Assistant. Lastly, from 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Lecturer for the Department of Computer Technology & Applications, SGSITS, Indore, India.

Jignesh Patel obtained their B.E. in Computer Engineering from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya between 1998 and 2002. Jignesh then went on to pursue their MS in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, with a major in Computer Networking and a minor in Software Engineering, from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki and Reaktor.
