Jason Urton

Jason Urton is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in software development and technical leadership. Currently serving in an engineering role at Groma since June 2022, Jason previously held multiple engineering positions, including VP, Senior Director, and Director of Engineering at Grubhub from September 2018 to May 2022. Jason's earlier experience includes serving as Director and Manager of Software Engineering at LevelUp and as Co-founder and CTO of Wisr.com, focusing on educational platforms. Additionally, Jason worked as a Senior Market Research & Technical Analyst at SalesQuest, where automation skills using Python significantly improved efficiency. Jason holds a BA in Computer Science & IT Entrepreneurship from Brandeis University and a BA in Anthropology & Sociology from Lafayette College.
