Gerwin Mennega serves as the Business Manager for Energy at Groningen Seaports since November 2021, overseeing the development of a sustainable industrial and energy cluster. In January 2024, Gerwin took on the role of Algemeen bestuurslid for the Fiber Carrier Association, which supports owners of fiber optic networks. Prior to these positions, Gerwin accumulated extensive experience in account management, notably at Simac Electronics BV as a Sr. Accountmanager for Telecom and Infrastructure and at AP as an Accountmanager for Datacenters. Gerwin's career also includes a role as Accountmanager for Document Solutions at Panasonic. Education includes recent completion of an Executive Program in Sales Management from Nyenrode Business University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Hogeschool HBO Nederland.
