Chris Huovinen

Chris Huovinen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. In 2003, they started their career as an Accountant at Momentum Telecom, where they handled journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset depreciation, and telecom regulatory reporting. Chris then joined Dave Ramsey - Lampo Group in 2007 as an Accountant, performing various accounting tasks such as GL journal entries, budgeting, reporting, and inventory control. Chris left Lampo Group in 2014.

In 2015, Chris took on the role of International Director at Worship Foundations International, managing international partnerships and supporting artists and musicians for Kingdom impact. After three years, they left the organization in 2018.

During the same year, they undertook multiple positions. Chris became an Accountant on a part-time basis at Artists in Christian Testimony Intl until October 2018. In January 2018, Chris also established their own accounting practice, Three Strands Accounting LLC, focusing on relationship-based accounting and tax services for various clients.

Most recently, Chris has been working at Groove Life since August 2018, initially serving as Director of Finance and later transitioning to Director of Finance & Systems in January 2023.

Chris Huovinen obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Auburn University Harbert College of Business, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Chris then pursued their education at 10,000 Fathers Worship School, earning a Masters of Arts in Worship Leadership in the field of Worship Leadership from 2016 to 2017. Prior to their time at Auburn University Harbert College of Business, Chris also attended Auburn University at Montgomery in 1998-1999, although their degree and field of study during that time are unspecified.
