Gautam Rayaprolu

Gautam Rayaprolu is a Compiler Engineer at Groq since April 2021, focusing on developing the compiler for the Groq Tensor Streaming Processor (TSP) to enhance the performance of Neural Networks through high-level features like quantization and model partitioning, as well as low-level architecture optimizations. Previously, Gautam worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon from September 2019 to April 2021, where systems were designed to address optimization challenges in the advertising marketplace, including an automated ad pricing system. A brief tenure as a Research Intern at D-Wave Systems Inc. involved analyzing and improving processor issues related to optimization problems on dense graphs. Earlier experience as a Software Developer at RBC Capital Markets included building market risk analytics software. Gautam holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Computer Science, both from McGill University.
