Ben Shlimovitz is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School teacher, Israel Trip Coordinator, and Tefillah Coordinator at Gross Schechter Day School since August 2015. Previous roles include teaching at Talmud Torah of Minneapolis and Minneapolis Jewish Day School, where Ben focused on curriculum development and classroom instruction for middle and high school students. Prior experience includes positions as a teacher and counselor at Yeshivat Shvilei HaTorah and various roles in client relations and mentoring at Neiman Marcus and Hillel at the University of Minnesota. Ben holds a Rabbinic Ordination from Shapell's/Darche Noam and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from the University of Minnesota, along with advanced training in applied mythology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Ben is also a LHILI-trained mentor in standards-based curriculum development.
