Susan Speirs

Susan Speirs has over three decades of experience in education, with a career spanning from 1987 to the present. Currently serving as a teacher at Grosse Pointe Public School System since 1993, Susan specializes in AP Biology, Applied Medical Research, and Hybrid Honors Biology. Prior teaching roles include positions at Lutheran High School Westland, Lutheran High School West, and Lutheran High School East, where subjects taught ranged from Advanced Biology to US History and Physical Education. Susan's education includes a Research Teacher Fellowship from Wayne State University School of Medicine, as well as Master's degrees in Educational Leadership and Biological Sciences from Central Michigan University and Wayne State University, respectively, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Sociology, Psychology, and Physical Education from Concordia University Ann Arbor.
