As the Founder of Grossman Company Properties and Classic Hotels & Resorts, Sam Grossman began his real estate career with the purchase of Chris-Town Mall in the early 1960s and eventually built a portfolio of commercial properties including shopping centers, office buildings, hotels and resorts, multi-family residential and agricultural land. He attended UCLA and Stanford University and was Arizona’s Democratic candidate for the United States Senate in 1970. Sam is a well-known commercial real estate lecturer and has spoken in various cities around the world. He is a graduating member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a member of the Chief Executive Organization, a retired member of the Board of Trustees of the United States Ski Team, and Founder of the Arizona Biltmore Children’s Charities. He is also a past council member of the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers.
Sam, who has had a life-long interest in health and nutrition, completed his book Win the Food Fight and released it nationally in 1989. The publication appeared on several best seller lists. In 1995, he also released an audio book entitled The 10 Commandments of Making It On Your Own.
