Michael Kocourek

Michael Kocourek has a diverse range of work experience. Currently, they work as a Marketing Associate at GCM Grosvenor since July 2021. Prior to this, they were a Contributing Writer at Third Coast Review starting from March 2020.

From 2013 to 2021, Michael worked at The Horton Group, where they held several roles. Michael started as a Client Service Representative in October 2013, then transitioned to become a Sales Enablement and Marketing Specialist from July 2014 to December 2018. From January 2019 to July 2021, they worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist.

In 2018, Michael was a Content Creator at Odyssey. Before that, they worked as a Communications Specialist at Illinois Wesleyan University from August 2012 to May 2013. Michael gained initial work experience as a Student Caterer at Sodexo from February 2011 to May 2012.

Michael Kocourek attended Nazareth Academy from 2005 to 2009 and earned a diploma. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and Finance at Illinois Wesleyan University from 2009 to 2013.
