Peter Braffman

Peter Braffman currently serves as Managing Director at GCM Grosvenor since January 2014. Previously, Peter held the position of Partner at Credit Suisse from August 2010 to December 2013, and served as Senior Vice President at Zurich Financial Services between September 2001 and August 2010. Peter's earlier roles include Vice President at Goldman Sachs from December 1997 to September 2001, and Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from August 1995 to November 1997. Peter began a career in finance as an Associate at Commercial Union Capital Corporation from June 1986 to January 1991. Educationally, Peter earned an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, both completed between 1991 and 1995, following a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and History from the University of Rochester from 1981 to 1985. Peter is an alumnus of Stuyvesant High School, graduating in 1981.
