Alastair MacLeod's work experience begins in 1988 at BT, where they held various commercial roles for over a decade. Alastair then co-founded Airserve in 2000, serving as the Commercial Director. In 2001, they became a consultant strategic sales leader at BT Wholesale. From 2001 to 2006, Alastair worked at Orange, first as the Sales Director for Business Solutions, then as the Segment Director for Mobile Pre-pay, and later as the Vice President of Business Services for the UK. From 2006 to 2011, they served as the Chief Operating Officer and later as the Chief Executive Officer at EurotaxGlass's, responsible for leading the group across 30 countries. From 2012 to 2016, Alastair was the Regional Managing Director for the UK & Africa and Germany Austria & Switzerland at Solera, overseeing eight companies. Alastair then joined Teralytics in 2017, initially as a Consultant to the CEO & Board and later as the CEO, focusing on sales, commercialization, productization, capital raising, and global scale-up. Finally, in 2020, Alastair became the Chief Executive Officer of Ground Control, a satellite-centric M2M & IoT technology service provider.

Alastair MacLeod completed their M.Eng.(hons) in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of York between 1984 and 1988. Later, they pursued higher education and obtained an MBA from the London Business School from 1996 to 1998.
