Roy Liberman

Roy Liberman is an accomplished professional with a strong background in applied science and data analysis. Currently serving as an Applied Scientist at Groundcover since December 2024, previously held the position of NLP Researcher at OpenWeb, focusing on mitigating Trust and Safety risks for media publishers through advanced machine learning techniques. As the Lead Data Scientist at Savannah Technologies Ltd from February 2022 to December 2023, Roy specialized in statistical algo-trading and developed machine learning models for high-frequency trading. Additionally, at Emerge Medical Data Intelligence, Roy managed a team and led data science initiatives, successfully implementing machine learning solutions for medical data classification. Earlier roles include Technical Lead and Software Engineer at VisionMap, as well as contributing as a Photogrammeter and GIS expert in the Israel Defense Forces. Roy's academic background includes a Master of Science and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
