Ji Ni

Ji Ni, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Financial AI at Group 42 since May 2020, focusing on machine learning models and AI applications in quantitative trading and banking. Prior to this role, Ji Ni was a Senior Applied Scientist at the Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence, conducting applied research in machine learning and AI applications for quantitative trading and retail banking. Ji Ni's experience also includes a position as Lead Data Scientist and Analytics Manager at Aviva, where responsibilities encompassed general insurance pricing and the establishment of a global Machine Learning Faculty. Previous research positions were held at the University of Leeds and the University of Lincoln, focusing on machine learning and statistical modeling. Ji Ni earned a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Sheffield, where both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in related fields were also obtained.
