Nidhal Belayouni

Nidhal Belayouni is a Lead Data Scientist at G42 since September 2021, with a robust background in geophysics and data processing. Prior experience includes serving as a Global Microseismic Technical Advisor and R&D Scientist at Baker Hughes from January 2013 to August 2021, where significant contributions were made to microseismic data projects aimed at enhancing reservoir characterization using advanced numerical modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques. Additionally, Nidhal worked as an Associated Researcher at MINES ParisTech from December 2014 to June 2020 and held roles as an R&D Engineer and PhD candidate at Magnitude LLC from January 2010 to January 2013. Educational credentials include a PhD in Geophysics from Mines Paris - PSL (2009-2012) and an engineering degree in Mechanics & Structures from Tunisia Polytechnic School (2006-2009).
