Rommel Ortega

Rommel Ortega is an experienced project manager specializing in construction and project execution within the telecommunications and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as an Onsite Project Manager at G42 since January 2024, Rommel previously held the position of Senior Project Manager at FIBERNET KONSTRUKT CORPORATION, overseeing the PMO for the Mindanao region and the Samar/Leyte region for the 2021 FOC Backbone Project. Earlier roles include Senior Project Manager at Wuhan Fiberhome International Technologies Philippines and Deployment Project Manager at Thales BAHRAIN, S.P.C., as well as extensive experience with Thales International Middle East where responsibilities included the execution of the Muscat International Airport project. Rommel began a career in operations management with Alcatel Philippines, managing GSM Networks and outside plant networks. Rommel is a graduate of Mapúa University with a BS in Civil Engineering and has completed a Project Management Professional Course at the International Institute for Learning.
