James Skemp

James Skemp is an experienced IT Software Engineer currently employed at Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin since July 2021. Prior to this role, James spent nearly a decade at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, progressing through positions such as Microsoft C# Programmer/Developer and Web Applications Developer, primarily within the Wisconsin School of Business. Responsibilities included collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams on the development of admissions applications and web applications, as well as client interaction for training purposes. Additional experience includes consulting work focused on web application migration and serving as the lead web developer at the State Bar of Wisconsin from 2004 to 2012, where James developed and maintained various websites. James holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
