Tom Blackmore

Tom Blackmore is an experienced Senior Cost Engineer currently at Group Lotus since December 2019, where Tom established the Cost Engineering department and leads a team focused on strategic cost management and optimization for complete vehicles. Prior to this, Tom worked at Jaguar Land Rover from September 2014 to December 2019, holding various roles including Senior Programme Cost Engineer and Senior Cost Engineer, where Tom successfully managed cost management processes for new vehicle programmes and collaborated with engineering and purchasing teams. Earlier experience includes serving as Commercial Manager at CT Automotive from 2008 to 2014 and a Composite Design Engineer at Retrac Composites. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Motorsport Technology & Management and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire.
