Tim Montag

Tim Montag currently serves as Group General Counsel at group.one since June 2023. Prior to this role, Montag was General Counsel at dogado GmbH from July 2022 to June 2023 and held the position of Geschäftsführer / Head of Legal Germany at GoDaddy from April 2017 to July 2022, alongside earlier responsibilities as Head of Legal Germany. Previous experience includes serving as Legal Counsel at Host Europe GmbH and as a Rechtsanwalt at GRP Rainer. Montag began legal training as a Referendar at Landgericht Köln and completed further internships at Eaton and Van Winkle LLP. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Wirtschaftsrecht und Restrukturierung from Universität Münster and a Staatsexamen from the University of Cologne. Early academic achievements include an Abitur from Gymnasium Kreuzgasse.
