Marcel Swanepoel

Marcel Swanepoel is currently the Managing Director at Group1 Auto since March 2007. Prior to this role, Marcel held various positions at companies such as Nissan South Africa, where Marcel served as Regional Financial Manager, Sales Planning Manager, and Aftersales Manager. Marcel's extensive experience also includes working at Deloitte & Touche in Corporate Governance and Volkswagen South Africa in Financial Control. Marcel started their career as a Graduate Trainee and Facility Planning Engineer at General Motors South Africa. Marcel holds a BComm degree in Financial from the University of Port Elizabeth and a B Comm NMMU degree in Mechanical Engineering from P.E. Technikon.
