Bill Shelton

Bill oversees the marketing and development functions for the general life and annuity businesses of Group 1001 including Gainbridge, Delaware Life and Guggenheim Life.

Bill has 25 years of experience growing businesses in the corporate and start-up sectors including 17 years on Wall Street at JPMorgan’s Investment Bank and the derivative businesses at both Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs. At Deutsche Bank, he was a managing director overseeing most of the institutional derivative businesses, including insurance. At Goldman Sachs, Bill was a managing director leading the firm’s efforts in designing, selling and marketing proprietary indices for fixed index annuities sold to insurance companies. He was first introduced to the Group 1001 enterprise at Goldman Sachs and then provided several indices for Group 1001 products when he moved to Deutsche Bank.
