Daniel Greuter

Daniel Greuter has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity, starting as a Global Technical Support Associate at Bloomberg LP in 2006. Daniel then progressed to roles at WSI Education GmbH and Bridgewater Associates, where they held various leadership positions in cyber threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security operations. Daniel further enhanced their expertise at Allstate, where they led a 65-person team in Cyber Incident Response and Data Loss Prevention before joining Group 1001 as the Director of Security Operations and Incident Response in 2023.

Daniel Greuter completed their Chief Information Security Officer Certificate Program at Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy in 2019. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Lehigh University in 2005. Additionally, they attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2003. Daniel also holds certifications in GIAC Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT), GIAC Advisory Board, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), and CISSP.
