Shelley Washburn

Shelley Prange Washburn currently serves as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Group 1 Automotive, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Shelley spent nearly two decades at GSM, where roles included Head of Corporate Strategy and President, during which significant transformations occurred, including doubling revenue and achieving recognition as one of Houston Chronicle’s 150 Top Places to Work in 2018. Shelley's early career involved key positions such as District Service Manager at Gulf States Toyota, Team Leader-Service Process Consultant at MSX International, Finance Manager at Plano Lincoln Mercury, and Marketing Manager/Zone Manager at Ford Motor Company. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin and serving as Class President at the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy.
