Sylvain Merlus

Sylvain Merlus is currently the MD at Groupama. Sylvain has previously worked as the gérant délégué pour le compte des actionnaires Groupama at Château D'Agassac from January 2019 to April 2021. Prior to that, they were with Groupama Centre-Atlantique and GROUPAMA GAN VIE, where they held the position of Directeur Assurances Collectives / directeur réseau Gan Eurocourtage from January 2013 to January 2015.

Sylvain Merlus started their career at Groupama Assurances Mutuelles in September 2003, where they worked their way up to the position of Directeur métiers assurance vie, épargne et assurances collectives before leaving in December 2012. Before joining Groupama, they were with the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) as a Commissaire contrôleur des assurances from September 2001 to August 2003. Prior to that, they were with the Inspection générale des finances as a Mis à disposition en tant inspecteur des finances from September 2000 to August 2001.

Sylvain Merlus is an engineer who studied at École Polytechnique. Sylvain is now a statistician economist and actuary at ENSAE Paris.
