Pierre Roby Ing. P.eng

Pierre Roby ing. P.Eng is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Chef de Service ingénierie d'usine & Maintenance at Norbec since March 2023. Prior to this, Pierre held the position of Directeur de la maintenance at Lantic Inc from February 2019 to February 2023. Pierre has also worked as Ingénieur sénior and Ingénieur projets at The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation from 2007 to 2019, and as Coordonnateur Sénior Entretien at ArcelorMittal from 2004 to 2007, focused on industrial maintenance at the Contrecœur Rolling Mill. Earlier experience includes serving as Directeur des Opérations at RTC and as Ingénieur d’Usine en Maintenance at Glencore Copper, where Pierre earned a Six Sigma black belt. Beginning a career in aviation, Pierre worked as Technicien en Entretien d’Aéronefs at Les Hélicoptères Abitibi Ltée from 1985 to 1993. Pierre holds a Bacc en Sciences Appliquées in Génie mécanique from Université de Sherbrooke and various qualifications in process optimization and change management.
